Employment Status

All summer staff working on OISE courses in the U.K. are employed earners. Your salary will therefore be subject to the standard PAYE deductions. (NI and Tax). After a successful interview and placement you will be asked to sign an Agreement Schedule, which constitutes the contract.

According to the type of course, English teachers are paid by the week, day, or part of the day as specified in the Agreement Schedule. Payment will be made by BACS transfer directly into your bank account. If this is not possible, you will be sent a cheque.
